May 2011 Newsletter

Dear {Contact_First_Name} {Contact_Last_Name},

Summer is coming, the days are getting longer, and your Greater San Francisco Ad Club is filling the calendar with one event after the other!

On April 26th, seventy-five Club members and industry professionals attended a panel discussion weighing the pros and cons of Native Apps vs Mobile WebThe very next day, the Club handed out $3,000 in scholarships to local advertising students at our annual Student Recognition Luncheon at Yoshi's in Oakland.

On May 11th, Eleven, Inc. hosted the first in a series of open houses at Ad Club Corporate Members' offices. It was so popular we had a wait-list, so be sure to register for the next one as soon as you see a notice. (Members will always be notified in advance for these free mixers, so why don't you consider joining right now?)

Finally, we close out May with back-to-back events: our second annual Power Breakfast, and our 106th (or is it 107th?) General Membership Meeting this coming Thursday.

Thursday, May 26: Annual General Membership Meeting –
The meeting will begin at 6:00 pm, and will be held at Il Massimo Del Panino just a block east of the Transamerica Pyramid. Light refreshments will be provided and there will be a cash bar.

Besides being a great opportunity to meet your fellow Club members, there are two important pieces of business to vote on: proposed changes to the Club’s bylaws, and an election for members to serve on the board of directors. You must be present to cast your ballot, so come meet your candidates and make your vote count.

Members, please register so we can get a headcount, and we'll see you on Thursday!
